Trainers Make The Difference

Our trainers make AMI courses different to any other Montessori program.  AMI’s Training of Trainers program requires experience to enter, deep personal commitment to complete and requires additional steps after initial training before achieving full trainer status. It is considered by many to be among the most exacting and challenging of Montessori qualifications.

The Voices of AMI Training series is one way in which AMI trainers provide insights into their thoughts, abilities and skills. It is building a growing resources with articles and downloadable handouts that is available to students, parents, schools and anyone else interested in Montessori training and teaching.

We asked a few of our colleagues to tell us why they chose to become AMI Trainers.

Andrea Fleener – 6-12 Trainer
Gretchen Hall – 3-6 Trainer
Sarah Werner Andrews – 3-6 Trainer

Why AMI Training?

When we ask people why they choose AMI training they are most likely to say it is because they want to:

Make a profound and beneficial impact on the lives of individual children, communities and civilization

The opportunity of a lifetime’s fulfilling work with children in environments prepared to allow them to fully optimize their potential as they grow to play their part in building communities, countries and the future of humanity.

Work with well-qualified trainers to understand and implement a uniquely powerful philosophy of education

Well-qualified AMI trainers provide students with deep and rich insights into Maria Montessori’s highly-regarded educational philosophy and support them as they transform themselves in preparation for making a difference to the lives of children.

Build a career with a globally recognized qualification in high demand from a variety of employers

A globally recognized Association Montessori Internationale qualification is highly prized by schools around the world and provides many other opportunities to build a career working with children and helping them discover their potential and capabilities.

We asked one of our experienced Trainers to explain the importance of having a Prepared Adult in the classroom.
